From Martin(Ed) and Jana Thornton and Joan and Michael Bowmer on return from their trip to Austria June 30 - July 14, 2013

I wanted to say thanks again for your work in making our trip to Austria as near perfect as possible. We spent time at the events you recommended and we had so much fun exploring the culture, meeting people, and the places were just spectacular. It’s clear that your experience there and knowledge about what there is to see and do made the trip great for the 4 of us. As you know, my sister was born there and has never been there to see her birth country. Using a handful of black and white photos, mom’s old stories, and some great work on your part getting us close to the areas where mom and dad lived, we found every single place we were looking for.  It was great to set our steps in the very same spots as mom and dad. Even though they were there a short time, they were obviously very happy there. It was a bit of culture shock for my sister since she hasn’t traveled in Europe, but she really loved and soaked up all the fun things we did. Even the salt mines in Salzburg were a fun time. Thanks for helping us have a great trip and for making it possible to re-created the footsteps of mom and dad. Mom’s death was really difficult last year, but she would have been so happy to hear the stories and to know that many things have remained in Linz. The churches were so spectacular there. I’ve been to Notre Dame, in Montreal and Paris, and some of the churches in Austria rival or pass Notre Dame. Blessings,
